Brushes used for watercolor or acrylic paint can be rinsed with cold or lukewarm water. Before you rinse the brush, use a cloth or firm kitchen paper to push the remaining paint towards the tip out of the brush. After washing out, dry the brush again with a cloth or kitchen paper. Do not keep them upright in a standard jar, because then the tassels will deform and that is a huge waste.
