Tamiya Clear Green X-25, is a transparent high-gloss clear red acrylic paint that is often used for wargaming to imitate fresh or (mixed with a dark color) old slime. It is precisely because of the contrast of the reasonable matte acrylic paints and this high-gloss green paint that the "slime" becomes extra realistic.
Tamiya Clear Green X-25 is an acrylic paint but reacts differently than the average acrylic paints such as Vallejo, Citadel or P3. The Tamiya Clear Green dries less quickly. In the first instance, it will mainly remain a thick mass, so that it flows beautifully as a realistic slime. So it takes some getting used to and trying out how it works for you.
Tamiya Clear Green X-25 is easy to dilute with water, but it can also be mixed perfectly with, for example, black, brown, blue or purple inks or acrylic paints to add some nuances to the slime.
For example, by mixing Tamiya Clear Green X-25 with the UHU Twist and Glue you can get amazing slime effects. This can be used to make, for example, "threads" of slime that drip from the intestines of zombies or show recently wounded characters with realistic wounds.
Tamiya Clear Green X-25 is irritating to the skin and it is therefore recommended for the so-called brush lickers to pay attention to this. Clean the brush well with water before using it for another paint
