Vallejo Metal Color Steel (77712) is a steel Acrylic Airbrush paint that is part of the Vallejo Metal Color series. These water-based metal colors have been specially developed for airbrushing. New aluminum pigments have been selected for this series to achieve a quality that was previously not possible in water-based metal colors.

Metal Color has a special adhesion to resin and plastic, and superior resistance and coverage. Metal Color can be applied directly to the model, it is not necessary to use a Primer first, although for aircraft fuselage and parts a base coat of Black Glossy Primer 77660 is recommended to realize the special qualities of the pigments.

Instructions for use:

1. Shake well before use!
2. Pour the paint directly into the cup of the airbrush, undiluted or pre-diluted with Thinner (71261). Colors can be mixed in the airbrush cup.
3. Metal Color dries very quickly on the model, so weathering, washes, pigments and dry-brush techniques can be started immediately.
4. However, we recommend waiting an hour before further processing the paint layer.
