The Army Painter Quickshade Dark Tone, made of very fine black pigment, the "Dark Tone" has proven to be the perfect Quick Shade for the "most evil" armies and models that require a sharp contrast in color and shading. It works perfectly for shades of gray and blue and all types of armor.



Quickshade is a pigmented varnish, which ensures that miniatures are perfectly provided with shadow accents (also called patination) and yet show the colors. Painting armies with a stunning result becomes easy, especially when this product is combined with the different color primers. This way you paint entire armies in a short time that look impressively detailed in less time.

Quickshade has been specially developed and designed to work with 10-28mm miniatures and should not be confused with inexpensive color varnishes and shoe polishes. These are too coarse for the thumbnails.

To use Quickshade, the miniatures are "dipped" in the Quickshade after which they must dry for 24 hours. The high gloss that remains afterwards can be matted with the "Anti-shine" spray.
