Orders placed and paid on weekdays before 3:00 PM will be shipped the same day and probably delivered to your home as much as possible the next day by DHL (see the delivery schedule further on this page). Your order may be delivered later in the following situations:
- Official holidays cause a 1-day delay because the carriers do not accept or deliver packages on those days. For example, if the holiday falls on a Thursday, your order from Wednesday will arrive on Friday, and an order on the holiday itself will arrive on Saturday.
- If you order an item that is not in stock. Sometimes, despite our careful staff, there may be a counting error in the warehouse, and we will have to inform you that we cannot deliver it immediately. Usually, we will look for an alternative or send you the rest of the package and credit the amount for the non-deliverable product.
- If you pay by bank transfer, your order will be prepared for shipment as soon as your payment is received. Your received payment is automatically recognized so that delivery can occur as quickly as possible.
- In the case of exceptional logistics situations such as extreme weather making roads less accessible or a sorting error by the carrier, delivery may take longer. In most cases, such exceptions are resolved within 48 hours. Is that too late for you? Then you do not have to accept the delivery; it will automatically be returned to us, and we will refund the full purchase amount to you. In almost all cases, you also have the right to return your order.
- Banks sometimes need a few minutes to confirm the payment. In that case, a payment made at, for example, 2:55 PM may be confirmed to us after 2:59 PM, causing your order to be pushed back by a day.
Scenery Workshop ships and delivers only on weekdays. If you order on weekdays before 3:00 PM, we will most likely ship your order on the same day. You will probably receive your order the next working day because we always do our utmost to deliver your order to you as quickly as possible.

Shipping and Packaging Costs
As a contribution to packaging and shipping costs, we ask for a fixed amount. When you place your order, you will see exactly how much these costs are. For shipments within the Netherlands, there is arate starting from €6.95. We DO NOT charge shipping costs for orders within the Netherlands and Belgium with an order value of more than €100. Packages sent with DHL within the Netherlands are usually delivered within 1, sometimes 2 working days after being handed over to the carrier, at the destination.
The cost for shipping with DHL starts from €6.95. You will receive a Track & Trace code from us, which allows you to track your package as soon as we have dropped it off at the post office. The costs for shipping to Belgium - Germany depend on the weight of the package (calculated by our system at checkout) and start from €8.-.
Payment Method
You can pay in multiple ways: through most digital payment options such as iDeal, Paypal, bank transfer, and MasterCard/Visa.
Returns and Defects
Despite the great care we take with your order, it may happen that an item becomes defective or that you receive the wrong product through no fault of your own. In these cases, you can request a return through a ticket in your account. Returns are free and can be done within 60 days for new and slightly used products.
Returns and / or exchanges (the returns) are some conditions:
- The items must be paid within 60 days of receipt at the delivery address and return to be reported via our ticket system.
- The items must be in original state of shipping, with the attached labels and to be returned in original packaging.
- There should be a completed return form to be transmitted, these can be found in your order. If desired, you can here a return form downloads.
- Items in the sale with a discount of 40% or more have purchased may be canceled under Term and can not be exchanged.
- The shipping costs of return are in accordance with the law for your own account. however, we will at refunding the costs incurred also handle the shipping costs during the payment process.
- The articles, which are reported for return, should immediately, but no later than 60 days after receipt of the order on the delivery address are returned to us. Scenery Workshop accepts returns that are only in the manner described above and for which the instructions indicated on registration have been followed. Returns that have not or not within the specified time will not be accepted. Your return will post reporting and after receipt of / the item (s) be confirmed by e-mail.
