Milliput Superfine White is one of the best known epoxy putty products for modelling, but then white and a superfine structure for real detailed work. The material works like the well-known GreenStuff. Milliput also consists of two components (2x 56.7 gr.) and by mixing them well (5 min. kneading) the material will slowly harden, after which it is completely cured after 3 hours. Keeping the putty cool, dry and airtight will keep it usable for about 2 years.
CAUTION: the two components are almost identical in color, so it is really important that the two parts are mixed well together. Therefore knead for at least 5 minutes to make sure that the mixing has taken place.
Once fully cured, Milliput can be sawn, sanded, drilled, filed and painted. It is advisable to wear safety glasses when sanding and sawing.
Milliput is, in addition to its pleasant use for modelling, also a perfect putty for connecting materials. It adheres effortlessly to wood, stone, cement, concrete, plastic and even glass, but it is not an adhesive in itself.
TIP: For fast curing, the material can also be heated in an oven or cured using a hair dryer. In this way it can even be cured within a few minutes, depending on the thickness of the material. It can withstand up to 130°C.
